Job summary

Dignity Health - St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the clinical team and ensure efficient patient flow. You will proactively prepare patient charts, obtain up-to-date information, and assist with charting and data entry for daily visits.

The role requires at least 1 year in an outpatient setting and CPR/BLS certification. Preference for associates degree and up to 2 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in outpatient medical office or physician clinic.
• Basic Life Support - CPR credential is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care under RN or licensed practitioner.
• Obtain labs, vital signs, and chart information.
• Document patient care activities accurately.
• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment.
• Perform skills such as spirometry, EKG, hearing/vision tests.
• Monitor patients and alert staff to significant changes.
