The Medical Assistant I (CMA/RMA) supports ambulatory nursing and provider teams by preparing patients for visits, collecting basic clinical information, and completing routine care support activities requiring certified or registered Medical Assistant credentials. Work is performed under the direct supervision of a physician or other licensed provider and within approved clinical protocols, applicable state requirements, and site standards for Medical Assistant work. Medical Assistant I (CMA/RMA) works under close supervision and follows established clinical support procedures and protocols.
