Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas (CHC/SEK) is seeking a team-oriented individual to join the clinical team as an MA. You will perform initial patient interactions, escort and prepare patients, take vital signs, and help move patients efficiently through the clinic while ensuring accurate documentation in the EHR.

Responsibilities include room preparation, instrument sterilization, supply inventory, and assisting Providers under Nurse/Provider direction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in clinic or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Must successfully pass annual competency.

Responsabilités

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, updates medication lists and allergies, and enters information in the EHR.
• Prepares treatment rooms for examinations and ensures rooms are clean; disposes of trash.
• Maintains patient flow by monitoring the scheduling system.
• Performs routine point-of-care testing.
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments; inventories medical supplies and materials.
• Transports specimens, equipment, or supplies safely.
• Supports Providers in patient care and education as directed by the Nurse or Provider.
• Complies with CHC/SEK policies and procedures.
