Job summary

MyCHN (Community Health Network) in the Greater Houston area is looking for a Medical Assistant to support providers and ensure high-quality, coordinated care.

You will take vitals, assist with exams and vaccines, coordinate referrals, and educate patients while maintaining a clean, organized clinical space. A Medical Assistant certification and BLS are required, with at least 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification or diploma in Medical assisting is required.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document vitals, patient history, and screenings.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer vaccines, medications, and treatments as directed.
• Coordinate referrals, prescription refills, and follow-up visits.
• Educate patients and support adherence to care plans.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized clinical spaces.
