The South Main Clinic at the University of Utah School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant that shares our vision and passion for caring for children and their families. The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in facilitating the efficient delivery of patient care, supporting the professional role of the licensed staff, and providing support and assistance as directed by licensed staff in rendering basic healthcare to patients.
Additional responsibilities include clerical functions, data tracking, and report completion. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. Regular and punctual attendance is required.

This job involves exposure to potentially dangerous bodily fluids, needles, and other hazards. Physical demands include standing for long periods, moving patients, and handling equipment. The position requires knowledge of lifespan development and the ability to provide age-appropriate care. All employees must meet immunization requirements per CDC standards and hospital policy.
