To support Hunt Regional Medical Partners' multi-specialty practice in a clinical and administrative capacity. Employee will be proficient in all areas of responsibility, with minimal supervision and oversight required

- 7. Check Vitals
- 8. Obtain History/Physical, Reason for Visit
- 9. Reconcile Medication(s) with Patient
- 10. Assist Physician/Provider in Patient Interaction and Procedures
- 11. Patient Treatment Room Preparation and Maintenance
- 12. Data Entry of Demographic and Clinical Information into HMRP System(s)
- 13. Referral Coordination, both outgoing and incoming
- 14. Surgery Scheduling and Coordination between Physician/Hospital and Patient
- 15. Pre-Operative Appointment Scheduling and Coordination between Hospital and Patient
- 16. Communicating Lab and Procedure Results to Patients
- 17. Review and Clarification of patient consent forms with patient prior to patient signing forms
- 18. Call/Process Prescriptions to Pharmacy as applicable
- 19. Ability to provide and explain instructions for Patient Procedure Preparation, Prescription, and other directives needed with regard to patient education
- 20. Preparation of Chart information for Physician as needed/requested
- 21. Inventory Maintenance
- 22. Patient Education
- 23. Teach use of Sliding Scale for correct use/dose of insulin, blood glucose monitor for patient self-management of diabetes
- 24. Teach use of Peak Flow Meter and Inhaler use for COPD and/or Asthma
- 25. Preform Glucometer, including QC of glucometer
- 26. Perform PFT
- 27. Perform ABI Measuring
- 28. Perform EKG
- 29. Determine Eligibility and Benefits
- 30. Authorize and Pre-Certification of Procedures
- 31. Schedule Appointments and Procedures in System(s)
- 32. Scan Documents into System(s)
- 33. Index Scanned Documents
- 34. Check in and out functions
- 35. Collect Appropriate Copayments and Co-Insurances
- 36. Answer Phones
