Job summary

North American Medical Associates is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our primary care health and wellness team. Responsibilities include escorting patients, recording vitals in the EMR, assisting with inventory, giving injections, and performing phlebotomy as part of routine care.

This full-time position requires current NJ/PA/DE MA certification and CPR, with a minimum of 2 years in a healthcare setting, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current certificate from an accredited NJ, PA or DE Medical Training School.
• Current CPR certification.
• 2+ years of experience working for a healthcare practice or hospital.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Escort patient to the examination room, take height and weight, vital signs and record in electronic medical records.
• Assist the Office Manager with inventory and ordering supplies and other tasks.
• Give injections.
• Phelobotomy.

North American Heros Medical is a primary care Health and Wellness Practice. We specialize in concierge service for First-Responders, Educators, and Public Servants. North American Heros (HMC) is currently recruiting a Certified Medical Assistant to join the team. We pride in multidisciplinary integrated services that facilitate the highest standards of care to our clients that include stress tests, lab tests, individual treatment plans, and follow up.
