Community Health Network in Indiana seeks a Medical Assistant to support providers at an ambulatory care site. You will prepare exam rooms, collect vital signs, assist with procedures, and help maintain an efficient patient flow using EPIC EMR.

You will participate in referrals, routine lab tests, and quality improvement initiatives, collaborating with team members to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.

Competenze

• Graduate/certificate from a recognized medical assisting program.
• High School Diploma/GED + 1 year MA experience in a physician practice in the past 3 years.
• Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas including cleaning and stocking of supplies.
• Room patients and manage an efficient flow of the provider's caseload.
• Obtain vital signs, EKGs, and/or specimen collection.
• Documentation of care using the EPIC EMR system.
• Perform Point of Care Testing based on patient's chief complaint and protocols.
• Process referrals and medication refills.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staff.

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the provider of an ambulatory health care site with facilitation of patient visit and procedures, routine laboratory tests, referrals, and quality outcomes for the population of the practice. As an MA, you will also get to actively participate in Network quality initiatives regarding best practices.

• Graduate/certificate of completion from a recognized medical assisting program OR a High School Diploma/GED + one year of medical assistant experience in a physician practice within the past three years.
• Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient use including required cleaning and stocking of supplies
• Room patients and manage an efficient flow of provider's caseload
• Obtain necessary vital signs, EKGs, and/or specimen collection
• Documentation of care using the EPIC EMR system
