The Primary Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time role at the Clarion County location. The position supports both clinical and front-office duties to ensure a smooth, welcoming patient experience.

Schedule is Monday–Thursday 8:00am–6:00pm and Friday 8:00am–12:00pm, with no weekends or holidays and a cap of 40 hours per week. Starting pay is $17 per hour, with PHN recognizing experience, education, credentials, and site location when determining wage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program and/or relevant direct patient-care experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient-care skills.
• Computer proficiency and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Venipuncture and injection experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for visits, including vital signs, height and weight, chief complaints, and medication review.
• Assist providers and nurses with patient care and clinical procedures.
• Perform approved clinical procedures such as venipuncture, injections, specimen collection, and routine testing based on training and clinical privileges.
• Prepare prescription refills under provider direction and assist with medication prior authorizations.
• Support patient scheduling, registration, phone communication, and other front-office needs.
• Help maintain patient flow and a safe, welcoming environment.
