Starting wage is $17.00 per hour with advancement based on experience, education, and site location. No weekend shifts, with varied weekday hours listed in the posting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Office Assistant program or LPN, or two years’ clinical experience.
• Infection control and strong clinical knowledge.
• Experience administering medications.
• Venipuncture and injections experience preferred.
• Experience calling prescriptions under a provider’s direction.
• Computer proficient.

Medical Assistant (Full Time)

Location: Mercer County

Position Overview

Assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the office setting which may include both clinical and front desk duties.

Location and Hours of Position

The general office hours for this position are:

• Monday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:30am - 8:00pm
• Thursday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:30am - 5:00pm

NO WEEKENDS

Compensation

Position starts at $17.00 (MA) per hour; however, PHN recognizes experience, education and site location when determining wage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school Medical Office Assistant or LPN - and/or two years experience in a clinical setting
• Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge
• Administering Medication
• Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred
• Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a providers direction
• Computer proficient
