Job summary

Intermountain Health in Layton, Utah is seeking a Medical Assistant to support ambulatory care. You will assist clinicians, collect relevant information, and help patients understand their visits across phone and in-person channels.

The role is PRN with a rotating schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A Medical Assistant program or MA experience, plus BLS, are required; EMR skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• This position requires completion of a Medical Assistant program or at least one year MA experience or current active RN/LPN license in Utah.
• Current BLS certification is required before start date.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills and strong interpersonal communication.
