UnitedHealth Group, via OptumCare and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, seeks Medical Assistant I–III to support patient care across a multi-specialty team in Houston. Roles scale with experience, including supervision, safety, and delegated tasks, plus higher-level clinical duties at advanced levels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• No experience required with a MA certification OR 1 year of related MA experience without certification.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Computer proficiency.
• Basic medical/nursing terminology.

Responsibilities

• MA I: Provide supportive patient care under supervision and ensure safety and comfort; perform delegated tasks.
• MA II: Includes MA I duties plus administer injectables and advanced clinical tasks; requires more experience or certification.
• MA III: Includes MA I and II duties; perform high-level clinical procedures and serve as a resource for staff.
