The role also involves managing medical supplies inventory, setting up equipment, cleaning instruments, answering calls, and providing friendly customer service; prior office experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• BLS or CMA certification preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
• Clean instruments and equipment after use
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties
