Medical Assistant - Greater St. Louis Area - Sign On Bonus Eligible!

Join us as a Medical Assistant at Esse Health, the largest independent physician practice in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, with over 120 physicians across 45 locations serving nearly 130,000 patients. We currently have multiple full-time openings at various locations throughout the St. Louis area.

Sign-on Bonus: $1,000 eligible!

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment of patients under supervision of the Office Manager and/or Physician.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height), and record information on patients' charts or EMR.
• Triaging phone calls and scheduling appointments.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with patients and coworkers, projecting enthusiasm and a welcoming attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal training, preferably a graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CPR Certification.
• Proficiency in PC/Windows, medical coding, and willingness to prioritize patient comfort and satisfaction.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with physicians and staff.
