Job summary

Epiphany Business Services, Llc in Muskogee, OK is seeking a Medical Assistant for a dedicated Gap Year program. You will gain hands-on clinical experience while supporting Board Certified Dermatologists and delivering compassionate patient care.

You will help with front-to-back patient flow, assist during procedures, document visit notes, manage supplies, and contribute to a positive, efficient clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of Bachelor’s Degree and awaiting acceptance to PA, NP, or medical school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide the best patient experience - from warmly welcoming patients and prepping them for their visit to thoughtfully answering their care-related questions.
• Act as the right hand to the provider, supporting hands-on patient care by assisting during procedures, capturing detailed visit notes, fulfilling prescription orders, doing anything else needed to ensure the appointment is as smooth and complete as possible.
• Keep the clinic running smoothly by staying on top of managing supplies, maintaining equipment, understanding the flow of exam rooms, and finding fun, creative ways to work smarter and more efficiently.
• Be a reliable teammate by jumping in to help, keeping things organized, and contributing to a positive, supportive environment.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Medical office, procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
