Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program; or currently enrolled in LPN school with completion of first clinical rotation.
• MA certification or registration within 6 months of hire unless currently enrolled in LPN school.
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician support and maintain smooth facility operations.
• Admin tasks: patient scheduling, referrals and authorizations, answering phones, filing, documenting, scanning, faxing.
• Clinical duties: preparing exam rooms, collecting vitals and specimens, assisting in minor surgical procedure injections, and other routine tasks.

Graduate of MA program
