Northside Medical Associates in Ohio is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support, delivering compassionate patient care and ensuring efficient primary care delivery. Duties include chart prep, vital signs, specimen collection, injections, and patient education.

The role requires a MA program graduate (or higher) with strong communication skills and HIPAA awareness. Monday–Friday schedule with on-site work in Westerville, OH.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program.
• MA certification preferred.
• Knowledge of vaccine administration and specimen handling.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and team.

Responsabilités

• Work with the clinical care team to deliver patient care.
• Foster direct communication between the care team and patients to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with care team to address gaps in care (chart prep).
• Set up medical equipment, perform injections, and collect specimens.
• Take vital signs and document in the patient’s EHR.
• Responsible for blood draws and specimen processing.
• Prepare patients and rooms for exams and ensure confidentiality per HIPAA.
