UPMC | GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant for our urgent care centers in Pennsylvania. The role supports a patient‑centered experience by handling registration, insurance verification, and scheduling, while assisting providers with clinical tasks and maintaining exam areas with accuracy and care.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 1+ year MA experience, with multiple MA certifications or nursing degrees considered. Competitive pay and bonuses offered.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify insurance and documentation.
• Schedule appointments and collect co-pays.
• Prepare patients for examination and document medical history.
• Record vital signs and perform point-of-care testing.
• Assist providers and maintain exam rooms and supplies.
• Complete opening/closing duties and equipment checks.
