Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for the Monticello Office. The role supports physicians in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures, and ensures smooth clinical and clerical operations.

Ideal candidates have dermatology and healthcare experience, familiarity with EMR systems, and strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Availability includes weekdays, with flexibility for Saturdays within operating hours.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Experience with EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Must be computer savvy, with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Open availability to work long hours and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic, and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorizations and procedures.
• Prep rooms before and after patients and ensure equipment is in proper working order.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions as needed.
• Conduct daily scans of retail and cosmetic products and manage supplies.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Previous healthcare experience is required.Schedule: Full time, 30+ hours. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7am-7pm.
