Job summary

Schweiger Medical Assistant position at our Riverdale Office is a full‑time role supporting physicians in dermatology, cosmetic, and laser procedures. You will manage clinical tasks, patient check‑in, and documentation to ensure high‑quality care.

You will assist in procedures, record treatments, and help manage equipment, supplies, and patient flow, with a focus on accuracy and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience required.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization and procedures.
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate next steps.
• Prep rooms before and after patients and check equipment.
• Provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions.
• Scan retail and cosmetic products and manage inventory as needed.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Previous healthcare experience is required.Schedule: Full time, 30+ hours. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7am-7pm.
