Job summary

Greater Seacoast Community Health in Somersworth, NH is hiring a Medical Assistant. This full-time role starts at $23.50/hour and up, based on experience and certification, with a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and a mission to care for people and strengthen communities.

You’ll welcome and room patients, take vital signs, prepare exam rooms, support providers during procedures and immunizations, and coordinate follow-ups. Growth, tuition reimbursement, and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA preferred.
• Two years of ambulatory clinical experience preferred; we’ll train you if newly certified.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients, take vital signs, collect specimens, and chaperone visits
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure supplies and equipment are ready
• Support providers during procedures and assist with immunizations
• Coordinate medication refills, lab orders, and patient follow-ups
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes
• Help connect patients with additional health and social services
• Maintain patient confidentiality and trust at all times

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring
