Job summary

Hospital for Special Surgery seeks a full-time Medical Assistant to support the Ortho Now program at our Westchester office. You will work with multidisciplinary teams and help ensure smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include escorting patients, preparing exam rooms, taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting with procedures. A strong customer-service approach and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, with at least one year of medical assistant experience.
• BLS Certification required.
• Good patient care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support multidisciplinary healthcare teams in the Westchester office for the Ortho Now program.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations.
• Obtain vital signs, collect specimens, and assist with procedures as needed.
• Maintain organized, clean patient care areas and deliver excellent service.
