Qualifications

Job Description - MEDICAL ASSISTANT (FT; 40hrs/wk) - Temple Faculty Physicians, Urology (247115)

Position Overview

The Medical Assistant provides basic patient care and performs job-specific tasks under the direct supervision of a physician or other licensed medical provider, following established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include activities necessary to support the personal needs, comfort, and safety of patients and their families. Duties encompass clinical, environmental, and administrative tasks in designated areas.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required). Graduate of a Medical Assistant program (Required).
2. Experience: 1 year experience as an Outpatient/Ambulatory Medical Assistant (Preferred). General experience with EPIC EMR (Preferred).
3. Licenses/Certifications: CCMA - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, CMA - Certified Medical Assistant, or RMA - Registered Medical Assistant (Required). BLS - Basic Life Support (Required).
