Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certificate or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant Program required.
• One year experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• ACLS or BLS certification from the American Heart Association required. Certification from AAMA, AMT, NHA or NCCT preferred.
• State of Florida Valid Driver's License

Aufgaben

• Schedule appointments and maintain accurate medical records.
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and Social Determinants of Health (SDOH).
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures as directed by physicians.
• Administer medications as directed; perform POCT and health maintenance screenings.
• Coordinate care and follow-up with patients, labs, hospitals, and other providers.
• Scan, label, and file outside records into patient medical records.
