Job summary

UPMC Renaissance Family Practice in Glenshaw, PA is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant. The role includes room triage, basic labs (fingerstick glucose, hemoglobin, urinalysis), EKGs, phlebotomy, vaccines, and general office duties.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows.
• Ability to take vitals and perform level one labs.
• Experience with phlebotomy, EKG, vaccines and clinic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Check schedules and organize patient flow; accompany patients to exam rooms.
• Perform room setup, cleanliness, and instrument/stock management.
• Document patient information and vitals in the medical record.
• Administer vaccines and basic clinic procedures under supervision.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff; handle phone calls and message routing.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate medical record handling.
