Job summary

Medi-Weightloss of Mishawaka is seeking a Medical Assistant with strong front office experience to support both clinical and administrative duties in our Mishawaka clinic. Key responsibilities include vitals, EKG, phlebotomy, and coordinating insurance matters while delivering excellent patient service.

The ideal candidate will have Medical Assistant certification, clinic experience with EKG/phlebotomy, and strong communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification.
• Front office experience including insurance and VOB knowledge.
• Clinical experience in EKG and phlebotomy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in exercise is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take patient vitals, perform EKG, and phlebotomy.
• Handle front office duties and insurance coordination.
• Maintain inventory and assist with daily clinic tasks.
• Support clinic marketing efforts and promote profitability.
• Document progress notes in EMR and patient charts.
