Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to work between reception and medical assistant roles as needed.
• Ability to collaborate with providers and clerical staff to ensure efficient patient care.
• Proficiency in essential clinical tasks and patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Performing or assisting in a variety of medical procedures/test.
• Venipuncture, vital signs, rooming patients.
• Administering injections.
• Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary.
• Register new patients and update necessary records.
• Process patient payments and collect co-pays/deductibles.
• Utilize medical office software to schedule appointments.
• Ensure EMR documents are scanned in timely.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and trainings.
