Job summary

Intermountain Health in Ogden, UT is seeking a Medical Assistant for PRN shifts in an ambulatory clinic. You will support clinicians, collect visit data, and communicate with patients across multiple channels.

Cross-training as a Patient Service Representative is possible, with opportunities for growth through education assistance. Required MA program completion or 1 year MA experience or Utah RN/LPN license, BLS, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Proof of completion of a Medical Assistant program or 1+ year MA work experience or current RN/LPN license in Utah.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification before start date.
• Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to protect patient privacy and PHI; team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under clinician direction and assist with gathering visit information.
• Communicate clearly with patients via phone and in person.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams on patient care.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and follow through in care delivery.
