Qualifications

• Proof of completion of a Medical Assistant program OR at least one year MA experience OR current active RN/LPN license in Utah
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required before start date
• Demonstrated basic computer skills with word processing and data entry
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients, members, and caregivers
• Utah-only: MA residency program if certified with less than one year MA experience

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the direction of a clinician and assist the provider with gathering information relevant to the visit
• Communicate clearly with patients via telephone and in-person interactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver patient care and ensure attention to detail and follow-through
