Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent coursework.
• At least one year of Medical Assistant work experience.
• Current active RN/LPN license to practice in Utah.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with word processing and data entry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy and PHI.
• For Utah-only MA candidates with <1 year MA exp, residency program option.

Responsibilities

• Assist Clinician by collecting information relevant to the visit.
• Communicate clearly with patients via phone and in-person.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate patient care.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and follow-through in care tasks.
