Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Phoenix Neurological department located in Scottsdale, AZ. The role supports both front and back office tasks, escorts patients to exam rooms, maintains clean and stocked spaces, and works under a Provider’s direction to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities include clinical support such as injections, venipuncture, and basic tests, plus administrative duties like scheduling and chart maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a MA training program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• CMA preferred; certification reimbursed by HonorHealth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist clinicians during exams.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and maintain clean, stocked spaces.
• Provide front-office duties: scheduling, phone handling, insurance forms.
• Handle injections, phlebotomy, and basic in-clinic tests under supervision.
• Coordinate referrals and authorizations with insurance and case management.
