Job summary

Marathon Health seeks an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team, supporting a primary care physician and delivering patient-centered care. You will manage the full patient experience from reception to clinical tasks, with emphasis on accuracy and compassion.

The role includes vitals, phlebotomy, injections, patient education, and coordination with labs while maintaining a clean, efficient clinical flow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform venipuncture, injections, and wound care as directed.
• Assist with procedures and coordinate with contracted labs for tests.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, chart requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Document results and communicate with patients per provider instructions.
