Job summary

MemorialCare in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant Front/Back Float to support front office and clinical teams within Family Medicine. This role requires data collection, patient teaching, and assisting Providers with care plans across practices.

Minimum requirements include 1 year of ambulatory medical office experience, a high school diploma, CMA certification, and BLS. MemorialCare offers a $2,500 signing bonus for external hires and solid health coverage options.

Qualifications

• One year medical office and clinical experience in ambulatory care preferred.
• High School graduate or equivalent required; CMA certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred; BLS for Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Front office duties for medical practices and support for the clinical care team.
• Assist in data collection for patient assessments and educate patients.
• Implement orders and treatment plan components under Providers' direction.
• Demonstrate professional communication and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.
• Maintain timely attendance and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Prioritize and multitask while ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
