Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to assist providers at an ambulatory health care site. You will help facilitate patient visits and procedures, support routine lab tests, referrals, and quality outcomes for the practice population.

You will also actively participate in Network quality initiatives and strive to deliver exceptional patient care with teamwork, communication, and a positive problem-solving attitude. Four 9-hour days may be possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate/certificate of completion from a recognized medical assisting program.
• High School Diploma/GED + one year of medical assistant experience in a physician practice within the past three years.

Responsibilities

• Assist the provider with patient visits and procedures.
• Facilitate routine laboratory tests, referrals, and quality outcomes for the practice population.
• Participate in Network quality initiatives regarding best practices.
