Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with walking and patient assistance.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of patient-specific clinical tasks under supervision.
• Float between departments as needed and travel when required.
• Process outside referrals (HMO and PPO) and notify concerned parties of outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and use EHR and other record-keeping systems.
