Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent and graduation certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum six (6) months of front and back medical office experience required.
• Two (2) years of front and back medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of procedures under general supervision.
• Float between departments and travel as needed.
• Process outside referrals including HMO and PPO, maintaining records and notifying concerned parties of outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure patient safety and care quality.
