Community Health Systems, Inc. (CHSI) seeks a Medical Assistant Tier 2 for Bloomington/Riverside, CA locations. The MA 2 will support clinical teams, chart in EHR, and prepare patients for visits under RN supervision. Role requires flexibility across specialties and adherence to CHSI policies.

Must have MA certificate, high school diploma, and BLS; 2–5 years’ experience recommended; EHR experience preferred. Willingness to work across Riverside and San Bernardino counties is expected.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited school.
• Current BLS certification.
• Venipuncture/Phlebotomy certifications required.
• 2–5 years’ Medical Assistant experience.
• EHR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN/Providers with clinical duties.
• Chart patients in EHR and prepare paperwork.
• Follow California MA scope of practice and CHSI policies.
• Perform clinical procedures under RN supervision.
• Maintain patient readiness and safety in care facility.
• Communicate safety concerns and complete incident reports.
