Role Overview

The ideal Medical Assistant demonstrates compassion, professionalism, and a patient-first attitude in a fast-paced clinic. They are friendly, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering unparalleled patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Escort patients and prepare them for examinations.
  • Enter medical histories and current medications into the system.
  • Assist physicians by scribing notes during patient visits.
  • Set up biopsies, excisions, suture removals, and cosmetic procedures.
  • Prepare and collect lab specimens, notify patients of results, and schedule follow-ups.
  • Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies.
  • Clean and autoclave instruments as part of lab maintenance.
  • Perform other back-office duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certified Medical Assistant preferred but not required.
  • Medical Assistant training is required.
Experience & Skills
  • 1-2 years in a medical office as a Medical Assistant.
  • Experience in dermatology and cosmetic procedures is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong phone etiquette and professionalism.
  • Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with electronic medical records.
