Requirements include a high school diploma, CMA/RMA/CCMA certification, CPR, and 6 months of clinical experience; salary is hourly with a $1,000 sign-on bonus, full-time 36 hours per week, some travel to Elmhurst.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED – REQUIRED
• Certified, Registered, and Clinical Certified Medical Assistants (CMA, RMA or CCMA) are required
• Current certification/registration through AAMA, ARMA, NHA or equivalent
• At least 6 months of clinical experience; non-certified candidates require 1 year of clinical experience
• Current CPR Certification by American Heart Association – REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations, obtain specimens
• Conduct routine laboratory tests and record results; may perform phlebotomy
• Administer selected medications/injections under supervision
• Perform clerical duties related to clinic operations
• Support a busy OBGYN office with multiple providers and staff
