Job summary

Chesapeake Specialty Care in Annapolis seeks a skilled Medical Assistant to join our ENT team. You will assist with patient care, take vital signs, manage records, and support procedures in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities include infection control, appointment scheduling, and collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure smooth operations. Certification is preferred but not required; prior healthcare experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care, including taking vital signs, recording medical history, and preparing patients for examinations.
• Perform basic life support techniques when necessary.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records
• Assist with medical procedures and treatments under the supervision of healthcare providers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate effective patient care
