Job summary

Laent is seeking a self-motivated Medical Assistant to support the physician and PA in clinic operations. Responsibilities include patient intake, basic procedure explanations, and ensuring a smooth clinic operation.

The ideal candidate will assist in patient care coordination, perform preliminary physical tests, and maintain patient confidentiality. A high school diploma and graduation from an accredited medical assistant program are required.

Compensation is offered at a competitive rate of $18-$20 per hour with additional benefits including health insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel within various Los Angeles based clinics.
• Ability to operate various office equipment necessary for job functions.
• Ability to work in a relatively unsupervised environment with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Room patients according to office standards.
• Assist physician with in-office procedures.
• Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians.

Skills

Excellent communication skills

Bilingual (English and Spanish)

General knowledge of HIPAA and CPT codes

Education
