Job summary

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) in Melville, NY is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant to welcome patients, prepare exam rooms, record medical histories, and assist providers during exams. The role includes in-office lab work and patient education in a fast-paced setting.

Expect to work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays; EPIC EMR experience is preferred and compensation includes competitive benefits. HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or CMA/RMA certification.
• Alternatively, a biology degree, EMT certification, or 5 years MA experience.
• Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients in person or by phone and route inquiries.
• Prepare patients for appointments and direct to exam rooms.
• Verify and record patient information and medical history.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare lab specimens and perform basic in-office testing.
• Maintain sterile instruments and dispose of supplies.
• Educate patients on medications and provide instructions.
• Document examinations, treatments, and test results.
