Job summary

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for the Kingwood office. You will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, assist providers, and perform basic in‑office lab tests. A strong focus on patient experience and HIPAA compliance is essential.

Ideal candidates have completed a Medical Assistant program or CMA/RMA, with Epic EMR experience. Eligibility may also include biology degree, EMT certification, or 5 years of MA experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or CMA/RMA certification.
• Alternative qualifications: Biology degree, EMT certification, or 5 years MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and triage patients by phone/in person.
• Prepare patients for exams and escort to exam rooms.
• Verify patient information and medical history.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare lab specimens and perform basic in‑office testing.
• Maintain sterile instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.
• Educate patients on medications and provide instructions.
• Document examinations, treatments, and test results.
• Maintain inventory and ensure equipment functions.
• Uphold HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
