ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for our Katy office. The role supports patient intake, exam prep, and documentation, with responsibilities spanning clinical tasks and patient education.

Qualifications include CMA/RMA or a related degree/certification, experience with Epic EMR, and a patient-focused approach. Monday–Friday schedule with potential weekend coverage, offering comprehensive benefits.

Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification such as CMA or RMA.
Alternatives include Bachelor's in Biology, EMT certification, or five years of MA experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients in person or by phone; respond to or route inquiries appropriately
Prepare patients for appointments by directing or accompanying them to exam rooms
Verify and record patient information, including medical history and reason for visit
Assist providers during examinations and procedures
Prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic in-office lab testing
Maintain sterile instruments and properly dispose of contaminated supplies
Educate patients on medications and provide instructions as directed
Accurately document examinations, treatments, and test results
Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment is functioning properly
Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
