Job summary

OnPoint Medical Group in Castle Pines, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers in exams and treatments, document vitals, manage EMR entries, and assist with patient flow.

The role requires a healthcare program credential (MA/CNA/LPN/EMT) with CMA certification preferred. A current BLS card and prior MA experience are desirable. The position is full-time with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of accredited healthcare program (MA, CNA, LPN, EMT) required or equivalent.
• National CMA certification strongly preferred.
• Some MA experience required.
• Current BLS card required.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and prepares them for visits; takes medical history and verifies information.
• Document a full set of vital signs.
• Enter data in the electronic medical record accurately and promptly.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatments; perform point-of-care tests as allowed.
• Maintain supplies in exam rooms and storage areas.
• Disinfects treatment rooms and maintains a clean, compliant environment.
• Communicate professionally with patients and coworkers; follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Support front desk functions as needed (check in/out, scheduling, phones).
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Graduate of accredited healthcare program (MA, CNA, LPN, EMT)

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred
