Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for a 40-hour day shift in Michigan. You will support a family practice with both administrative and clinical tasks under supervision, ensuring a smooth and positive patient experience.

The role requires completion of a Medical Assistant program with externship or equivalent clinical experience, plus BLS certification. EPIC EMR experience is preferred, and you will join a large, mission-driven academic health system committed to growth and quality

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
Graduate of Medical Assistant program with 160-hour externship or 1 year clinical experience in past five years.
CMA/LPN/EMT or military trained personnel with clinical experience may apply.

Responsibilities

Greet and escort patients to exam rooms.
Obtain and record medical histories and vital signs.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting providers as needed.
Perform administrative tasks to support the efficient operation of the practice.
Contribute to a compassionate and patient-centered care experience.
