Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant program with externship preferred (160 hours).
• Alternatively, MA certificate with 1 year clinical experience in past 5 years.
• LPN or EMT with relevant clinical experience also acceptable.
• BLS-C current or within orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Obtain and document accurate medical histories from patients.
• Measure vital signs and prepare patients for exams or procedures.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures to ensure safety.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the clinical team.
