Performs clerical duties, operates office equipment and computers, and assists in scheduling and obtaining precertifications for surgeries. May perform phlebotomy with no waived testing.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• One year experience in clinical area preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and general office skills preferred.

Working Conditions - ADA Information

Works primarily in the medical office setting, requiring moderate to frequent lifting (exceeding 50 lbs), bending, and assisting in same. Must operate office equipment, computer terminals, and lab equipment. Likely exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases. Extensive walking required during shifts.
