Responsibilities:

The medical assistant performs direct and indirect patient care tasks in an ambulatory setting under supervision, participating as a team member, and performing tasks within legal scope of practice, following policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate from Medical Assistant program or hold active certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA)
• Excellent communication skills
• Teamwork experience
• Computer proficiency, experience with EMRs
• Availability for daytime hours, flexibility as needed

Licenses/Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Active Medical Assistant certification preferred

Additional Details:

• Nonexempt
• Full-time, 80 hours per pay period
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, with weekend rotation
