Job summary

Advocate Health in Westmont, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time, 40-hour work week in Family Medicine. You will screen patients, document histories, perform vital signs, and support clinicians with procedures, labs, and vaccines.

Ideal candidates will have a MA certificate or equivalent training, solid communication skills, and proficiency with EMR systems to ensure efficient patient flow and accurate record-keeping within a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or structured military training in lieu of a MA program.
• 2 years of verifiable full-time Medical Assistant experience within the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform rooming/visit tasks including vital signs, history, screenings, and health maintenance.
• Assist provider with procedures and order labs, including venipuncture and POCT.
• Administer medications and vaccines following medication rights.
• Maintain clean, organized work environment and ensure supplies are stocked.
